About Linear Row Seating Arrangement: Positions and Professions

CLAT's Logical Reasoning section includes analytical puzzles alongside argument-based questions -- arrangements that must be worked out purely from a set of clues given once, without any outside knowledge of the people or terms involved.

This quiz is built around a single straight-row seating arrangement: eight people seated in a row facing north, each with a different profession, fully pinned down by nine clues given up front. Every question below is answered using that one arrangement -- nothing new is introduced question to question.
