📖 Read the passage, then answer the questions below

Kavita pilots a small ferry boat between river towns for a logistics company. The ferry's speed in still water is 20 km/h, and the river's current flows at 4 km/h. On Monday, the ferry travelled downstream from Town A to Town B, then immediately returned upstream back to Town A, completing the entire round trip in exactly 5 hours.

On Wednesday, the same ferry made a one-way downstream trip from Town A to a different location, Town C, farther downstream than Town B, and this downstream trip alone took exactly 3 hours.

Separately, the logistics company also operates a delivery van between two depots that are 180 kilometres apart. On the onward trip, made during the busy afternoon, heavy traffic slows the van to an average speed of only 40 km/h. On the return journey over the same route, made late at night once the roads have cleared, the van manages a faster average speed of 60 km/h.

Question 1

If the van's onward speed had also been 60 km/h, the same as the return, what would the total round-trip time have been?

Question 2

How long did the downstream leg, from Town A to Town B, take on Monday?

Question 3

What is the ferry's speed in still water?

Question 4

How long did the upstream leg, from Town B back to Town A, take on Monday?

Question 5

If the ferry were to return upstream from Town C to Town A, how long would that leg take?
